MARC will present a survey of wire antennas on Monday Night, July 28, at 7:00pm at Fire Station # 7. This class will review feedline types, baluns, dipole antennas, off-center fed (OCF) antennas, and instruments for testing, tuning, and evaluating wire antennas. If time permits, we will erect an OCF 40 meter antenna and check it out with instruments. All experience levels with antennas are welcome. If you’d like to learn about wire antennas, this class is for you. If you know all there is to know about wire antennas, we need you to share your knowledge and expertise with the rest of us. If you’re in between, come see what you can both learn and contribute.
Handouts will be provided with space for your notes. Come on out and participate in the discussion and learning.
